S&P-500, Healthcare-200, Industrials-300, ADR-200, Utilities-100, Russell-1000, Energy-200, Financials-200, Discretionary-300, Consumer Staples-100, Materials-100 and Technology-300 are each published quarterly. Telecom is covered in the ADR, S&P and Russell reports. We also have quarterly special reports on high-paying dividend stocks (300 companies covered) and Short Interest (1000 companies covered). Mid-quarter updates are available for each of the reports on request. The attached sample is our March 17, 2009 Industrials sector report (300 stocks). Each sector report includes two files, one in Excel (five sheets) and one PDF (three pages of notes, updates and recommendations). Clients also receive individual stock write-ups/recommendations generated from these sector reports. See "Samples" page (top section) for those.

We usually issue three recommendations per week, three weeks per month. The write-ups are usually from the sector/index reports that are sent out in the respective week. Please see the reporting schedule on our "Home" page. The stocks are selected after applying a fundamental and subjective overlay to the computer driven recommendations. See the Performance page for track record documentation, past returns and recommendations. The attached sample is a four-page write up on Panera Bread PNRA that was sent out on November 18, 2008; PNRA was closed out with a 44% gain on December 16, 2008.

| Standpoint Research Weekly Picks for short-term traders. |
We started a new service on March 1, 2009. We will be putting out a piece every Sunday evening three times per month with short-term ideas where the holding period will be a few weeks or less. There will be four recommendations each week. The beta, industry and sector selection on those picks will be dictated by how I feel the market will behave in the very near-term, so there will be a momentum dynamic.
The recommendations will usually be coming from our list of open recommendations, so they will be stocks we are familiar with. The recommendations will only be one-half page in length because that is what is being requested. There will more often than not be a four-page write-up to back up the short version you will see in this document every Sunday. These will be the (long) reports you received when the original recommendation was made and they can be re-sent if you require additional information and didn’t save the original.
Every Sunday there will be four new ideas and I will also advise which of the prior weeks’ recommendations should be dropped. It is important to note that the majority of these recommendations being ‘closed’ in this service will remain on our list of open recommendations because we still like the long-term risk-reward. Our recommendations are being tracked by “Investars” – the firm that has been tracking our performance since 2006. We will notify you all when a recommendation from our permanent portfolio is dropped.

Thorough absolute, relative and comparative analysis is done on the client holdings and/or focus list.
The client list is merged with all stocks from the respective benchmark giving the client an idea of how his holdings scored relative to his/her universe. Increase, hold, decrease and liquidate ratings are given to the client holdings and focus stocks. On decrease/sell recommendations, the client is given recommendations for what to do with the proceeds from the liquidated stocks. Recommendations are also given on the industry and sector level.
